Terms of Service
Last updated: June 3, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Solar Home Planner. By using the service or creating an account, you agree to these terms.
Planning Tool Only
Solar Home Planner provides planning and estimation tools only.
It is not a substitute for licensed engineering, electrical design, permitting review, structural review, code compliance review, or professional installation advice.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, including appliance loads, location, site conditions, cost assumptions, and customer information.
You must verify all designs, calculations, equipment choices, reports, and recommendations with qualified professionals before purchasing equipment, seeking permits, or performing installation work.
Acceptable Use
You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with platform operation, upload unlawful content, scrape the service, reverse engineer protected parts of the app, or use the service in a way that violates laws or third-party rights.
Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Subscription Access Rules
Some features require paid access. Homeowner Pass and Installer Pro access depend on plan status in our subscription records.
Installer Pro is intended for professional workflows and may include installer tools, advanced mode, cloud sync, lead capture, and deployment workflows. Access may be limited, suspended, or terminated for misuse, payment failure, or violation of these terms.
Intellectual Property
Solar Home Planner, including its interface, software, reports, branding, workflows, text, and design elements, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You retain responsibility for your project data. You may use generated reports for your own planning, customer communication, or business workflow, subject to these terms.
Service Availability
We aim to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-secure access. Features may change, be improved, or be discontinued over time.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solar Home Planner is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or financial damages arising from use of the service.
We are not responsible for installation decisions, equipment purchases, permitting outcomes, code compliance, structural suitability, site performance, utility approvals, or financial losses based on estimates or reports produced by the app.
